Roasted Green Beans are a delicious side dish to any meal and they are so versatile, you can eat them all the time! Try with parmesan cheese, lemon juice, toasted almond slices, balsamic reduction or any of your favorite flavors. This is a great recipe for when you have limited cooking time but are looking for a tasty and nutritious dish.

Ingredients:

  • 1-2 Pounds fresh green beans, washed and dried
  • 2-3 Cloves garlic, minced
  • 2-3 Tbsp olive oil
  • Few dashes of salt
  • Optional: Red Pepper flakes and/or grated parmesan cheese
Main Ingredient(s): Garlic, Green Beans

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 425°F.
  • Snap or cut the ends off the green beans.
  • Place green beans in a bowl; drizzle with olive oil – just enough to lightly coat the beans.
  • Mix in the minced garlic and salt.
  • Place beans on a baking sheet.
  • Roast for 12 – 14 minutes, tossing halfway through. Beans should be tender yet slightly crisp.
  • Sprinkle with red pepper flakes and parmesan cheese.
