Our Berry Green Smoothie recipe blends the fresh green flavors of spinach and avocado with the fruitiness of banana and sweet-tart blueberries. Easy to make with a lot of flexibility in ingredients, smoothies are a great way to boost your vegetable and fruit intake and smooth the way to a great day!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup milk or unsweetened non-dairy alternative
  • 1 cup fresh spinach or kale
  • 2 cups blueberries, frozen
  • 1 banana, fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • Optional: 1-2 Tbsp nuts or nut butter
Main Ingredient(s): Avocado, Blueberries, Kale

Steps:

  • Wash spinach and dry. Prep banana and avocado by peeling and cutting into large chunks.
  • Place milk and spinach in blender and blend on low until completely broken down.
  • Add remaining ingredients to blender. Blend until smooth.
  • Enjoy immediately!
