VSECU and the Vermont Foodbank host the iconic fundraising event on the State House Lawn – Saturday, September 23
MONTPELIER, VT, SEPTEMBER 18, 2023 – The Point to Point, powered by VSECU, is a cycling event to raise funds and awareness for the Vermont Foodbank and support their mission to fight hunger in Vermont. VSECU, and the Vermont Foodbank will host the full event in person with hundreds of riders starting and ending at the State House Lawn in Montpelier. Since the inaugural Point to Point in 1981, this beloved and iconic event has raised over $2.2 million to fight hunger in Vermont. The event has helped to provide more than 3.6 million meals to Vermont neighbors facing hunger. At the celebration on the State House Lawn, VSECU and the Vermont Foodbank will announce the total amount raised this year and recognize top fundraisers and top fundraising teams.

The event has a range of start times with the 110 mile ride beginning at 7:00 AM through 11:30am when the 10 mile ride departs from State Street in Montpelier. The festival begins at 1:00 PM and riders are welcomed back with an award ceremony at 4:00 PM on the Vermont State House Lawn in Montpelier.
