We all deserve the food we and our families need and want.

Vermont Foodbank partners with over 300 food shelves, meal sites, community organizations, schools, and hospitals across the state to bring food to neighbors in local communities.

Below, you’ll find information about programs and resources that can help you access food.

3SquaresVT (also called SNAP or "food stamps") provides monthly food benefits to buy groceries for people who qualify.

Vermont Foodbank’s Find a Food shelf tool can connect you with a food shelf or meal site in your area. With over 300 partnering organizations across the state, you’ll be able to access food close to home no matter where in Vermont you may be.

The BackPack program provides children at participating schools with kid-friendly, easy-to-prepare foods for weekends and school breaks.

The Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) provides a free box of food staples each month to people 60 or older who qualify.

VeggieVanGo (VVG) provides free, fresh produce at distribution events statewide. There are no eligibility requirements or reservations needed to access this program and participation is anonymous.
